Kids Club FAQs
Yes, children from all school's are welcome to attend up to 11 years of age.
Yes and this is a really great way for children to get to know us and become familiar with kids club before they start school.
No, you can book as many sessions per week as you need, they just need to be set sessions for every week. If you do need to change your set sessions please speak to us as soon as you can and we will always try to accommodate changes (we just have a two week notice period).
No, drinks are provided throughout the session.
Please provide a bag with a change of clothes, a packed lunch, sensible shoes for running around and a coat or jacket.
We ask you to make us aware of any after school activities and we can then collect your child from these clubs once they have finished (as long as they are on school grounds).
Yes, please don't assume school will tell us illness or non attendance. We have a large group of children to collect and need to know if your child is not at school for any reason. You can either ring our landline, text Sally or Kerry or email us.
Children are encouraged to try our snacks however toast is always available for those who do not like our daily snack.
There is a section on our registration form for you to make us aware and we will then talk these through with you in person to ensure we are best placed to support your child.
We ask you to email us to cancel your sessions and we have a two week notice period.
Preschool FAQs
We are actually open all year round however, you are welcome to use us either all year round or just during school holidays.
We are open 9-3pm Monday to Friday.
We do not have a minimum number of sessions, some children just attend with us one day per week and others are full-time.
No, we do not charge a top up for funded fees as long as you have enough hours to cover your days.
Yes, we do monitor and record children's absences as this falls within our safeguarding remit and in addition, it is very useful for us to know if a child won't be attending a session.
A bag with a change of clothes, nappies and wipes (if not toilet trained), a lunch box, coat and wellies (slippers are also great for inside but not essential). We like to explore our local area by going on walks, jumping in muddy puddles and finding food for our giant african land snails!
This is because the ratio's are smaller for 2 year olds and there is a maximum of 4 children to 1 adult.
